The beginning of our new site.

Today we registered our new Scratchpad, with the aim of providing information about our recent project in French Guiana: a floristic inventory of the coastal savannas of this part of South America. During our work we were hosted by the Herbarium of French Guiana (CAY), and our work was funded by a National Geographic Society/ Waitt Grant (No. W87-10).

During our six months in French Guiana we kept a blog using Wordpress. To find out more about our project, please see http://frenchguiana.wordpress.com/

We'll be working away to populate this site once have learnt the ropes.
